UNITED METHODIST MEN (UMM)

The United Methodist Men meet for breakfast on the first Sunday of each month at 8:00 am in the Fellowship Hall for fellowship and ministry planning. They are well-known for their Chicken-Q fundraisers, which help to
support our local partnerships and
other ministries of the church.

UNITED WOMEN
IN FAITH (UWF)

The United Women in Faith meet
the first Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall
at 11:00 am.
They are most known for
hosting birthday parties and creating
"goodie" baskets for the
Jasper Memorial Retreat, as well as hosting
Holy Week and bereavement luncheons
for the community.

CHANCEL CHOIR

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

The Chancel Choir assists in leading the music and hymns each Sunday in worship. They rehearse each
Tuesday at 3:00 in the Choir room and Sunday before Service
at 10:30 when needed.
New members are
always welcome!

Children's Choir (The Melody Singers) rehearse before Sunday service from 10:00 - 10:30 in
the Choir Room.

The Congregational Care Ministry seeks to care for and restore people in the congregation who are experiencing significant life changes, from the birth of a new child to the death of a
loved one. Congregational Care includes
bereavement meals for families at funerals
and attending to prayer requests.

JASPER COUNTY COMMUNITY
FOOD BANK

The Jasper County Community

Food Bank provides groceries for households experiencing food insecurity in Jasper County and beyond. They are open each Thursday of the Month from 9:30 - 1:00 PM. Monticello First UMC provides volunteers, financial support, and non-perishable food items for donation. If interested in volunteering, come to the Food Bank by 8:30 am any Thursday, 2171 Post Rd. in Monticello.

The Joy Group gathers on the third Thursday of each month at 11am in the Fellowship Hall for lunch, socializing, and to hear a program given by one of the members or a guest speaker. The group is open to anyone who enjoys good food, fun and fellowship! Bring a dish to share; the Church provides sweet tea and water.
